**The Role**
- Prepare divisional finance reporting, forecasting, analysis, accruals and budget development and implementation.
- Lead and participate in monthly finance meetings with SES and directors, providing guidance and advice.
- Manage divisional recruitment rounds while working with ASD Recruitment and maintain reporting.
- Develop and maintain key artefacts such as standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, organisational charts and databases.
- Manage and deliver a schedule of culture and training activities such as planning days, training sessions and newsletters.
- Develop and maintain the divisional training catalogue, strategic planning and coordination of the divisional rotation program.
- Provide specialist advice to senior management on complex and sensitive matters and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Actively participate as part of a team to collaboratively streamline processes and investigate best practices
- Other duties as required.
- Lead, manage and develop junior staff - ASD6 and EL1 only

**About our Team**

The Business Management Unit (BMU) within the National Partnerships branch is responsible for managing and facilitating divisional corporate functions in four key areas of Human Resources, Finance, Culture/Training and Strategy. As a strategic enabler and trusted advisor to Senior Executive Service (SES), Business Management & Capability Officers/Manager take an active role in providing guidance, promoting best practices and ensuring the division is equipped with quality artefacts to support divisional objectives, the cyber security strategy, REDSPICE and enterprise-level outcomes.

You will gain a high-level view of the division’s operations, insights into senior decision-making and will work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Offering excellent exposure and a varied role, you will contribute to helping make Australia the most secure place to connect online and assist in building corporate capability within the Cyber Engagement and Strategy division and across ASD.

Your team's success is what drives you - you are a problem solver, a creative thinker and can develop and implement key artefacts to support the team and wider division to build capability.
