**The role - opportunity**

If you're enthusiastic about being a part of a team that are committed to leadership and excellence, this is a superb opportunity to join as a Contract Administrator/Manager with a subcontractor firm (painting, rendering, carpentry, C&P) in the building industry.

This is an office-based, full-time position, with $120K - $140K + Super, negotiable depending on your experience.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate stellar time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy. A natural leader, you will be confident and easily and effectively manage teams respectfully.

Reporting to the General Manager and Managing Director, you will work on an impressive pipeline of projects secured. Your role requires effective subcontract administration and an understanding of exceptional client service. You will wear multiple hats on any given day and are ultimately responsible for the performance of projects from leadership and support of the team to driving buildability and day to day problem solving to create commercial outcomes.

**Duties**
- Managing and processing progress claims, payment schedules
- Effective Contract Management
- Variation Management
- Managing Delays and EOT
- Managing and tracking project expenditure
- Administering RFI's
- Communicate effectively with attention to detail

**Criteria**
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management/Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a similar role (sub-contractor firm in the building industry)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
- A strong affinity with ensuring safety on site
- Strong planning (look-ahead) skills
- You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity
- Confident and looking to exceed in all facets of your work. A "can do" positive attitude and confidence.
