Contract Manager | Engineering Service Agreements | Public Sector Client | Initial 6 Month Tenure + Extensions
**Your new company**
A large publicly funded organisation west of Melbourne now requires an experienced Contract Manager or Senior Contract Administrator to join the Engineering Department and assist with the coordination and administration of several high value contract agreements (maintenance). With an opportunity for permanency beyond the initial tenure, this position will allow you to work closely with clinical staff & the Engineering division while championing new software, procurement and reviewing/ improving service maintenance agreements and deliverables.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and administering contract agreements (Engineering & Maintenance)
- Ensuring the effective transition of contracts from scoping, tender to contract execution
- Reviewing past and current agreements & creating new service maintenance agreements
- Regular monthly reporting
- Ensuring contracts are being executed correctly
- Liaising with internal and external relevant stakeholders
**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Engineering, Building & Construction, Facilities Management or Project Management
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is desirable but not necessary
- Prior experience in State Government is preferred
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Attention to detail & strong computer literacy skills
