**Contract Officer**

**Full Time, Fixed Term Contract, through to 9 August 2024**

**Total Package $83,040.88 per annum (inclusive of superannuation)**

The team is responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing the relationships, and the engagement and administration of the WALGA Preferred Supplier Program (PSP).

The Contract Officer will be pivotal in supporting the PSP by providing contract management administration and assistance to Preferred Suppliers and Local Government Members. Additionally, you'll also get the opportunity to coordinate internal and external communications and events related to the PSP.

This role regularly communicates with key suppliers and other key stakeholders, so we are looking for someone who has a confident approach to building positive relationships and who has a demonstrated ability to relate to people from various backgrounds.

- Experience working in a customer service/member-based organisation (desirable)
- Experience in contract administration and/or contract management (desirable)
- A demonstrated interest in collating and developing content for electronic newsletters and other communications materials
- Experience using a CRM or similar database
- Sound knowledge of PC based office tools, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service skills with demonstrated ability to relate to people from various backgrounds.
- High level administration and organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
