**The Role**
Reporting to the Senior Category Specialist, the Graduate Contracts and Procurement accountabilities and functions include supporting Southern Ports’ contracts and category management business process and procurement function.

The role will play a key part in the Southern Port’s procurement technology transformation program including the implementation and operationalisation of our Microsoft D365 ERP solution and our FELIX Supplier onboarding solution.

The role will support category specialists and contract owners in the sourcing, awarding and administration of contracts within the maintenance and projects (civil and infrastructure) categories.

The role is a 2-year fixed term, fulltime role based in Bunbury or Albany or Esperance or Perth.

**Key Duties**
- Support Senior Category Specialist and Category Specialist deliver assigned category objectives and targets.
- Support end to end contracting and procurement activities.
- Support procurement sourcing events (EOI, RFP, RFQ, tenders) as required.
- Support the evaluation of offers, including the development of evaluation methodology and criteria.
- Support the administration of contracts as required.
- Support Supplier performance and relationship management through performance reporting and attendance at performance review meetings.
- Provide support, advice and ensure that procurement policies and procedures are followed and assist in the ongoing improvement and development of them.
- Support Category Specialists to establish purchase orders aligned to the awarded form of contract.
- Participate in the Southern Port’s Microsoft D365 Project team as required.
- Onboard vendors through the FELIX onboarding tool.

**The Expertise**
- Suitable Degree Qualification in business, commerce, legal or related background
- Industrial experience would be beneficial
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner
- Ability to travel to other Southern Ports locations (Albany, Bunbury, Esperance and Perth)
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence.

**Requirements**:
To be eligible for this 2-year fixed term role, applicants must be able to provide proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

The successful applicant must have a current WA driver’s licence, be able to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Access Card and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
