**About HeadBox**

At HeadBox, our purpose is simple. We connect people and spaces to make brilliant things happen.

But it's not always been straightforward to hire or host at an amazing venue. In fact, prior to the company's inception in 2015, it was the exact opposite. Our business was born from frustration at the outdated, slow, inefficient and time-consuming venue booking process that anyone looking to book a space had to endure.

Since then, we've uncovered more challenges faced by corporates, venue managers and people looking for venue space but our purpose has always remained the same. We've spent the last few years becoming obsessed with our customers and their problems so that we can build products, tools and features to make their lives easier. Think of it as human-kind event-tech. Our ecosystem of products make event and venue management simple, secure and transparent, whether you want to hire a space or host an event.

HeadBox Australia launched in 2020 led by Ali Lord, ex-Head of Events at Dentsu Aegis UK. In her previous role, Ali was one of the early adopters of the HeadBox Business technology and experienced first hand the benefits and efficiencies it provides corporations. Ali quickly knew this was a product she had to bring back to Australia.

HeadBox are now in the process of taking Australia by storm and are looking for a new team member to join us on this exciting journey.

**The Role**

The Content Coordinator will be part of the Marketing team and will be responsible for planning, creating and managing content for HeadBox. You will act as HeadBox’s mouthpiece, collaborating with people across the business to communicate to our customers and help increase users, generate enquiries and reach our company objectives.

Your focus will be on creating visual content and writing copy about Australia’s best event spaces as well as promoting HeadBox’s products, services and culture. You’ll be managing HeadBox’s social media platforms and creating SEO-led content to get HeadBox in front of anyone who’s planning an event party, ranging from corporate events, engagement parties and more. It’s an exciting opportunity to get familiar with some inspiring venues, whilst exercising creativity and forward-thinking content creation.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the team to build and execute the content marketing strategy
- Designing and creating engaging content for all HeadBox communication channels including social media, blog, newsletters
- Copywriting
- Social media management (scheduling, engagement, insights)
- Writing PR materials and identifying media opportunities in collaboration with the CEO
- Reporting on your activities to your line manager and the marketing team.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year of experience working in a content creation role
- Experience in creating social media content and managing social media pages
- An effortlessly accomplished writer - that perfect turn of phrase is always at your fingertips.
- Knowledge and experience in SEO (preferred but not essential, we can show you the ropes)
- Experience with design platforms (Adobe creative cloud, Canva)
- A sense of ownership - we’ll give you a lot of responsibility from the get go. In return, you’ll proactively take charge of managing your own work, solving problems as they arise and completing them on time.
- Attention to detail - your words will be key in how HeadBox is presented to the world. Impeccable spelling, punctuation and grammar are a must, and it should be second nature to you to always proof your copy.
- Brand-aware - as a content creator, you’re building the face of HeadBox so bringing our brand tone of voice through in every piece of content is key.
- Cross-team collaboration - you will work with Sales to feature the best venues.
- Be great to work with - we’re looking for someone who embodies the HeadBox values of brilliance, integrity, empathy, and curiosity.
