**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our client is looking to bring in an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager based in Macquarie Park to mentor and lead the Warehouse team as the business goes through a rapid period of growth.

This position is initially a 3-month contract with possibility for extension.

Key responsibilities include:

- Direct and manage logistics activities including order management, picking and packing, invoice and dispatching, warehouse and store management, inventory management.
- Motivate, organize and encourage team building within the workforce including participating in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing opportunities for high performers and education.
- Support the local setup and maintenance of the companies ERP system, Navision and related EDI functionality with key customer accounts.
- Create and maintain quality procedures and work instructions for various warehouse operations.
- Interactions with various departments mainly customer service, production, marketing, finance, quality/regulatory and global supply chain.
- Ensure the Logistics and Warehousing team complies with ISO 9001/ISO13485 requirements as specified in Quality Management System.

**ABOUT YOU**
- 3+ Years management experience within Warehousing and Logistics.
- Excellent people leader - Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience growing and establishing a warehouse function from the ground up (preferred)
- Preferred background in leading a Warehousing team for a product/service-based business. Fast moving goods would be advantageous.
