Our client is a trusted and respected business supplying industrial and engineering products to a broad range of industries. They are well known for their quality service, extensive product range and competitive pricing.

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Internal Sales professional to join their thriving team.

**The role**:

- Ability to create long term business relations with customers
- Provide quotations ensuring accuracy of products and current price structures
- Follow up on customer quotes and back orders
- Process sales orders
- Support members of the sales team as required
- Liaise with other internal departments to ensure client needs and deadlines are met
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings
- Attend product information training
- Comply with company policy and procedures
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintains customer records by updating account information

**What we’re looking for**:

- Market and product knowledge of tools, PPE, General industrial hardware (desired)
- Highly motivated self-starter, eager to learn and determined to adapt quickly
- Ability to identify client needs and solution sell
- Strong willingness to provide high quality customer service and positive results for clients
- Strong oral, written and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Experience in a fast pace environment with an understanding of business 2 business sales
- Results orientated with strong analytical skills
- Competency with computers and use of software such Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- A proactive and motivated self-starter willing to work as a team and independently
