**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Sales Representative to help manage and grow our business in the Newcastle, Hunter, Central & Mid North Coast areas.

**Successful applicants must have**
- Understanding of meat cuts and quality.
- Food sales experience
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base.
- Past experience in the food service industry is crucial for this role.
- You must have proven sales experience, managing customer accounts and growing the business in a food industry.
- The ability to prioritize your workload, be self
- motivated and self
- driven.
- Aptitude for working with computers, iPads, CRM, Microsoft office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
- Professional personal presentation.
- Competence in building trust and customer loyalty.

**Tasks & Key Accountabilities**
- Focus on new business growth by identifying opportunities, developing and managing new areas of growth to increase sales.
- Maintain an existing customer base by providing exceptional customer service.
- Achieve sales KPI’s, meet sales targets and execute sales strategies as set by the sales manager.
- Work co-operatively within a busy sales and admin team environment.
- Manage yourself to achieve call rates, coverage, distribution, trade spend, product mix and volume targets.
- Arrange a geographically defined territory into a journey plan that delivers efficient service to customers and maximizes the utilization of time.
- Timely and efficient administration demonstrated by yourself, and ability to take on additional responsibility as required by the business.
