We are looking for a senior leader for the position of

Vice President, Sales Area APAC

APAC Sales Area consists of the following countries: Australia, Hongkong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan. The size of the business in the area is currently about 115M€ and it represents about 30% of Normet revenue globally. We have long relationships with major players in the market and our reputation in the market is strong. Japan is a relatively new country entry for us focusing on tunnelling. We have about 170 employees working in these countries all together.

In this position you will be responsible for leading the team of country managers and developing and executing a growth strategy which includes ambitious top-line sales growth with targeted profitability and capital efficiency measures. In country organizations we have sales and services teams located. We are looking for an energetic, mature and transparent leader for this important role.

The position reports directly to the CEO of Normet Group.

Key tasks in the position.
- Lead the development of a safe working environment in line with the company goals
- Promote the Normet brand and market opportunities in the region
- Execute the regional Business Line strategies
- Drive region sales and profitability for all Business Lines
- Manage and lead the sales by producing accurate reporting on market trends, customer leads, sales forecast, profitability, cash management and other KPIs.
- Grow the regional market share
- Consistently improve customer satisfaction
- Lead and develop the sales and services teams, develop the area management team, company culture, and retention of key people.

Primarily the location of this position is Adelaide, South-Australia.

- P/L and balance sheet improvement capabilities
- Extensive sales and marketing skills
- Excellence in customer relations and collaboration
- Mining & construction industry knowledge
- Good understanding of mining and tunnelling customer processes
- Knowledge of services business

Background:

- Minimum education qualifications at bachelor’s degree level
- Minimum 5 years sales and general management experience in a relevant industry
- P/L responsibility experience
