**The Role**

Reporting to the Regulatory Services Manager and based in Windsor, the primary purpose of this position is to protect and enhance public health and the environmental systems of the Hawkesbury LGA. Leading a team, you will keep our customers and the health of the community at the forefront to ensure public and environmental health is protected. Further to this, the position will lead and coordinate Council’s Sewage Management Facility Team. This team is responsible for inspecting and regulating on-site sewage management systems.

**About You**

You will have demonstrated experience in a leadership role with the ability to coach and mentor a high performing, customer centric team. You will consistently act with integrity, have the ability to effectively engage and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and will be driven to solve problems and deliver results.

**Essential Criteria**
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent qualification
- Extensive demonstrated experience in Environmental Health within Local Government
- Working knowledge of NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Local Government Act, Public Health Act and the Protection of the Environment Operations Act
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
