The **Women's & Children's Health Network** provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Women's and Babies team as **Women's Assessment Service Coordinator (WAS)** on a** full time ongoing** basis**.**

As the Women's Assessment Service Co-ordinator, you will be responsible to provide a comprehensive administration support service within the Division. This may include overseeing relevant activities relating to customer service and frontline clinical support.

You will be responsible for duties including staff supervision, rostering and coordinating training and development of administration officers and will contribute to the efficiency of the women's & Babies Division in response to medical, nursing and patient needs and pre-empting and correcting variations in data collection.

You will work collaboratively with the Division Directors, Unit Managers and other Departments such as Medical Records and will support the Administrative Manager through quality activities, change management processes and improvement in workplace flow and efficiency.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you should have high standards of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to foster professional working relationships with a diverse range of health professionals, staff, patients and visitors. You should be able to set priorities to respond to changing circumstances and needs.

If you have experience in staff supervision and team building including the allocation of tasks to ensure equitable workloads and contributing to planning, decision-making and team building, then this role is for you.
