The Administrative Services Officer provides a high quality administrative, clerical and reception service by providing information and advice on established practices and procedures to members of the public, legal profession, police and other court users.

This role is also required to prepare correspondence and reports from a database and assists in the maintenance and integrity of data entered on the Coroner’s Court case management system which informs the National Coronial Information System (NCIS).

This role is located in the Coroner’s Court.

**Special Conditions**:

- Short term contract for up to 12 months.
- The Administrative Services Officer will be required to undertake reception, administrative and data quality assurance functions on a rotational basis within the Coroner’s Office.
- Appointment is under the _Courts Administration Act 1993_. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the _Public Sector Act 2009._
- Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.
- As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
- Appointees will be required to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status.
