Position: Wellness Policy Advisor

**Job Description**:
Hearty Center Pty Ltd is a wellness and clinical nutrition organisation that supports its patients to optimise their health and wellbeing through a combined emphasis on nourishing the body, mind and spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Policy Development**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, develop, and implement wellness policies that align with organizational goals and promote a healthy environment for our community.
- **Analysis and Evaluation**: Conduct thorough assessments of existing wellness policies, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with current health guidelines and industry best practices.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community leaders, and organizational decision-makers, to gather insights, build consensus, and address diverse perspectives in policy development.
- **Research and Trend Monitoring**: Stay informed about the latest trends, research findings, and advancements in wellness and healthcare policy. Use this information to inform the development and adjustment of policies to reflect current knowledge and industry standards.
- **Communication and Education**: Develop clear and concise communication materials to educate employees, community members, and relevant stakeholders about wellness policies. Conduct training sessions to ensure understanding and compliance.
- **Advocacy and Public Relations**: Act as an advocate for wellness initiatives within the organization and the broader community. Represent the organization in public forums and collaborate with external entities to promote wellness awareness.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of wellness policies. Recommend adjustments and updates based on feedback, changing circumstances, or emerging health trends.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or a law degree
- Proven experience in developing and implementing policies, preferably in a healthcare or community setting but not necessary as training will be provided
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate research findings into actionable policy recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for promoting health and well-being, along with a commitment to creating positive social impact.

Salary range: $95,000 - $110,000

**Salary**: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Ability to Relocate:

- Katoomba, NSW 2780: Relocate before starting work (required)
