Care Coordinator

- Abundance of blocked shifts: M-Fri (9:00AM-5:00PM)
- Job type: Casual (requires minimum 2-3 months of commitment - possibly longer depending on situations)
- Minimum salary (w/ casual loading): $80.50
**Position responsibilities**:
- To maintain overall accountability and responsibility for the clinical management of health and care outcomes of the Care Recipients in the centre.
- To be able to attend to the floor and fulfil duties as a Registered Nurse
- Ensure that new staff are appropriately inducted, supported, and trained to affect their roles to their optimum ability and organizational expectations
- Foster and promote a working environment that encourages participation, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- In conjunction with the Centre Manager, participate in recruitment programs and retention strategies in accordance with the annual facility resourcing plans and initiative
- Understand and promote performance management, motivate and increase capability through recognised strengths and identifying and addressing areas for development.
- Ensure effective flow of information to all levels of the organisation In collaboration with line manager and direct reports, draft action plans for continuous improvement following agency visits or reports
- Oversee appropriate reporting, documentation and actions are brought to a successful conclusion following a compliment, complaint or suggestion.
- Effectively manage and support the Centre to ensure adherence to Accreditation Standards, legislation and regulatory requirements, including a safe and complaint workplace within policies, procedures and documentation framework.
- We can provide the remaining responsibilities in a document after an interview has been conducted.

**Qualifications**:
- Registered nurse
- Covid vaccination
- Police check (or willing to retrieve police check)
- NDISWC
**Skills and experience**:
- Demonstrated ability to assist elderly residents
- Confident speaker
- Organised and punctual
- **Experience as an RN in aged care facilities**:
- Appropriate qualifications
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $80.50 - $160.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
