**Your New Role**

This role is responsible for the financial performance monitoring, management, and improvement of Aware Super's insurance arrangements with an emphasis on premium sustainability, market competitiveness, and growth.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Insurance and you will work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver results.
- _ Own the documentation and maintenance of the Aware Super Insurance Sourcing Model including reporting of benefits realised for members_
- _ Responsible for the insurance data management strategy_
- _ Lead regular reviews with insurers_
- _ Own the oversight and monitoring of all premium calculations, payments and reconciliations between operational teams and insurers_
- _ Lead analysis of insurance cover level, premiums and claims for organic and inorganic growth opportunities._

**How do you exceed our expectations?**

- You will be a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia (or equivalent body) with proven life insurance experience from either an industry, insurer or consultancy background
- Demonstrated experience in insurance tenders, pricing, reinsurance, and actuarial calculations
- Experience preparing Committee and Board level reporting
- In depth knowledge of the superannuation and wealth management industries.
- You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
