Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all Direct Insurance Australia Data, Analytical & reporting requirements across all workstreams
  • Identify & challenge stated requirements to ensure it does not just replicate what we do today and meets the future need of the organization
  • Engage with other streams of the program where they intersect with data and reporting
  • Provide recommendations on scope & priorities for AU Data, Analysis & reporting Requirements
  • Influence & align data & reporting requirements with Senior Stakeholders
  • Identify foundational (data assets) required to enable future execution of Analytic capability
  • Identify / Design future key performance frameworks to support Strategy > OKR's > key metrics
  • Management Reporting including BSC's, Operational reporting (efficiency & effectiveness) and Quality level measurement (eg frontline)
  • Ensure end to end integration requirements identified
  • Application of TOM guidelines & translation of next level detail
  • Design criteria for assessing critical requirements that need integration of legacy history with new policy centre data
  • Decision Support / trade offs for meeting short term needs (transition state) vs future state requirements
  • Understand Information architecture and how strategic projects will fit together to deliver on reporting needs
  • Ensure data required to meet third party contractual obligations continue to be met
  • Support processes to align metric definitions across the business and inclusion into Enterprise Business Glossary
  • Support end to end delivery from inception to UAT
  • Support change embedment activities

Skills & Experience

  • Systems Thinking
  • 5 year's project experience and familiarity with Agile ways of working
  • Understanding of Information Architecture
  • Experience in designing & developing Business Performance Frameworks
  • Critical Thinking
  • Experience in working with Data Warehouses
  • Data Governance Principles knowledge
  • Self Driven, requiring mínimal supervision / direction
  • Advanced Influencing and communication skills
- preferred: domain knowledge related to customer, policy and sales environment

  • Effectively uses technical capabilities such as SQL or Python to monitor & evaluate data
