**THE ROLE**

An opportunity is available for a Claims Team Manager to join the
- You will oversee a portfolio of Commercial Claims and collaborate with Insurers and Legal
- You are career driven, have a strong work ethic, and possess leadership qualities.
- Portfolio consisting of Commercial Property and/or Commercial Motor or similar Claims
- To provide professional claims handling services to clients designed to provide solutions, fulfill client’s objectives
- To manage the day-to-day handling of claims by attending to incoming insurance claims and managing them internally or lodging them with the Insurer
- Process, follow up, and negotiate claims to the appropriate level of authority
- Maintain client claim files and ensure that the required level of service is of the highest standard until deemed closed and finalised
- Ensure all service falls within internal and external compliance requirements
- During periods of high risk i.e. hail and flood, ensure that Clients are kept on alert for potential events that may give rise to a major claim
- Contribute to the success of the Company by enhancing the Broker Client relationships

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

We are looking for a talented claims individual with a passion for client advocacy - at the company, their clients are at the forefront of everything they do.
- Ideally, 5+ years experience working within the Insurance industry ideally within a Commercial Claims role
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A high degree of organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, learn quickly and be proactive
- Collaboration with Key stakeholders within the business to facilitate excellent portfolio management
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Customer Service and Corporate Experience
- Hold Tier 1 or Diploma of Insurance or ability to work toward Tier 1 Insurance Broking
