Our client is a global drinks company that create and distribute a world class portfolio of non-alc drinks. Due to exponential growth our client is looking for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated National Sales Manager to head up the Independent channel in and end to end capacity as well as grow and develop the national field sales team.

Role Responsibilities:

- Lead the independent team and business
- P&L ownership and management
- Management of 6 reports
- Create capability programs & processes
- Strategic planning for the On & Off premise channels
- Work closely with marketing to agree & execute trade strategies
- Work with the SLT as a part of the overall business delivery
- Contribute to pricing strategies, contract negotiations & supply chain management
- Joint business planning with customers
- Ensure competitor activity is monitored
- Build internal & external relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance to field sales team
- ROI to deliver profitable outcomes and top line growth

Ideally you will have the following attributes:

- Strategic planning and implementation across major accounts
- People management & leadership effectiveness
- Sales capability experience & the ability to develop teams
- Qualification in Commerce, Business or Marketing desirable
- Previous experience working as a NBM/NAM within drinks or FMCG
- Strong commercial skills
- Strong communication capability with exceptional influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
- Planning and coordination skills
- Systems and CRM capabilities
