**Sales Manager - National**

We have a rare opportunity for a Sales Manager to contribute to the development and execution of sales and growth strategies to win and acquire new clients for the Aon National business.

As the Sales Manager in our National business, you will contribute to developing Aon’s presence in the high value mid-market space including leveraging “Delivering Aon United”, nurturing and building a new business culture supporting a positive sales appetite and aligning stakeholders to the National Sales Blueprint for the purpose of improving and expanding our sales capability in sales.

**What the day will look like**
- Coordinate with the Sales Enablement Team to undertake the necessary Local market planning for the purpose of identifying the target universe
- Interact and engage closely and regularly with the Director National Growth & regional growth leaders to ensure adequate support and guidance is provided in the execution of duties
- Contribute to the design and implementation of regional sales growth plans and align same with target financial growth goals
- Work closely with the Sales Enablement team to contribute to national Sales meetings to review results, pipeline and opportunities
- Contribute to the management of robust and consistent pipeline discipline across the National business
- Contribute to forecasting for National on a quarterly basis factoring leads, opportunities and known wins for the quarter
- Coach and develop selected Client Managers to aid in building stronger sales capabilities including compelling narratives and sales techniques for high value prospects

- Highly organised with the ability to work independently and with a broader team
- Highly self-motivated with an ability to think outside of the box
- Exceptional sales origination and client relationship management capabilities
- A keen entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated new business successes
- Strong technical understanding of a broad range of Commercial Insurance products
- Creative and open mindset amenable to embracing new ideas, new ways and unafraid to test oneself competitively
