We currently have two vacancies available in the Systems Safety team:
**Operational Risk Advisor (ASO5)** - This role is responsible for identifying, managing, reviewing, analysing, and overseeing Rail Safety and Enterprise/Business risks in accordance with legislation (_Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012_) and best practice. It also assists PTSA functional areas/divisions to build and promote a risk aware culture to increase levels of understanding and commitment to the management of the PTSA’s risks. This is achieved through guiding and supporting key stakeholders including the department’s directors/managers with regards to their respective risk management responsibilities and requirements. A key function of the role is to develop and implement processes that input and support the continuous improvement cycle of the Safety Management System (SMS).

**Operational Risk Coordinator (ASO6)** - This role is responsible for identifying, managing, reviewing, analysing, and overseeing Rail Safety and Enterprise/Business risks in accordance with legislation (_Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012_) and best practice. It involves overseeing a variety of complex programs, projects, and policy initiatives, ensuring they align with agency objectives while fostering positive change and continuous improvement. Providing detailed analysis, research, and expert guidance to support policy development, project planning, and system implementation.

The incumbent's expertise will drive critical risk management efforts, including the development and execution of our risk management framework and profiles. Responsibilities also include coordinating and facilitating risk workshops, preparing agendas and briefing notes, and chair sessions to document key outcomes. Additionally, the incumbent will audit risk controls, monitor risk treatment progress, and be actively involved in investigations related to project and operational incidents.

**Licences/Experience**
Knowledge and working experience of AS31000:2018 Risk Management Guidelines, _Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012_ (RSNL), and _Work Health and Safety Act 2012_ is desirable.

A current driver’s licence is desirable.

**Remuneration**
ASO5 - $85,790 to $95,413 pa + superannuation.
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation.
