**About the role**
The role of the Community Liaison Officer, Roadhouse Services is to provide support to the clients of the Free Food Program. The program runs from the Griffin Centre 6 days per week. The Community Liaison Officer has primary responsibility for the provision of information and support of clients as well as supervision to volunteers.
As a Community Liaison Officer, you will be assisting clients who access the free food service with information, supporting and referring to other services to meet their needs.
**What you will bring**
- Experience with a variety of diverse community services and or functions
- Experience in case management and/or referral services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral with the ability to communicate with a broad range of people with special needs including mental illness and differing cultures
- Experience of working alongside Aboriginal people and people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds
- Working with Vulnerable People’s Card and Driver Licence required
