Family Liaison Officer

Our client, a leading provider of support services to Australian Defence Force families, is seeking a highly skilled Family Liaison Officer to join their team. As a key member of the community outreach team, you will play a critical role in engaging with families, providing support and assistance, and facilitating access to a wide range of important services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate family engagement opportunities and events, including community activities and support groups.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about community-based services and resources.
- Offer support and assistance to individual members, partners, and families, including crisis intervention and referral services.
- Maintain accurate records and files, including data collection and analysis.
- Build and sustain relationships with team members, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Experience in event planning and coordination, community outreach, and family support services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the Defence lifestyle and community needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
