Casual Process Technician

**The Role**

The Casual Process Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Processing Plant and associated operational areas.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operating the relevant section of the process plant in an efficient manner
- Diligently monitoring the relevant section's operational performance and taking timely action when required to maintain optimum performance
- Regular check measurement of plant operating parameters and maintaining accurate log sheets and records as required
- Provide detailed handovers to the oncoming Process Technician
- Working effectively with other team members, maintenance and metallurgical staff to optimise plant performance
- Adhering to procedures, including the 'Rules to Live By' and 'Green Rules
- Utilising pro-active safety systems such as Take 5's, JSEA's, hazard reports and workplace inspections
- Promptly reporting all hazards, incidents and injuries
- Correctly wearing all required PPE when required
- Being pro-active towards their own as well as other's safe work practices as per the Duty of Care policy

**About You**
- Current 'C' Class driver's licence
- Occupational First Aid (desirable)
- Cert III Mineral Processing (desirable)
- English and numerical literacy
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail, observant
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and trends
- Ability to work cohesively in a small team
- Good communication skills and positive work attitude
- Previous mineral processing experience (desirable)
- Demonstrate good safety and environmental awareness
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to problem solve in a timely fashion
