**The Role
This position is responsible for providing analytical, sampling and other support to the technical and production teams in monitoring the performance of the gold to ensure site and department targets are met in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
The roster for this position is 5 days on, 2 days off; drive in, drive out from your home base.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring own Health & Safety as well as that of all other workers, identifying and maintaining safe work practices and completing all required safety training
- Conduct routine, and non-routine, sampling in support of processing plant
- Conduct metallurgy test work and plant trials
- Assist plant metallurgical staff in the performance and analysis of plant test work
- E nsure the accurate and timely completion of all reporting requirements w ithin agreed timeframes, in particular daily assay results
- Maintain metallurgical instrumentation including the turbidity unit and density gauges.
**About You**
- M etallurgical or Chemistry training preferred
- D eveloped interpersonal skills and self-motivated
- A nalytical mind with genuine interest in achieving best practice outcomes
- D emonstrate initiative, urgency, resourcefulness and integrity
- C ompetent report writing and presentation skills
- G ood knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- O ccupational First Aid
- Cu rrent ’C’ Class driver's licence
