About the role
The Loan Kit Coordinator at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital is responsible for the ensuring that all required loan kits have been booked and have arrived prior to surgery. The Loan Kit Coordinator is responsible for the receipt, tracking, preparation and despatch of all loan kits and prosthetics used within the Operating Room Suite to ensure that all loan kits and prosthetics(irrespective of the origin and purpose) are tracked, all components accounted for and returned complete to the respective company.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the accurate receipt of loan kit goods and prosthetics into the hospital
Accountable for readiness of loan kits and prosthetics for each procedure
Ensure effective customer service by responding promptly to customer requests; maintaining good working relationships with departments; ensuring a high standard of internal and external customer service in all areas; seeking and responding to feedback regarding customer service issues
Upholding the principles and practices of infection control by observing Infection Control Guidelines and standard precautions as outlined in the Infection Control Manual
What you bring

Certificate III in Health - Sterilising Practice for Technicians
Experience in a CSSD department
Previous experience working with consignment kits
Ability to work independently
