**What you'll be doing**

The Patient Admissions Manager provides Leadership and Management of Administrative staff and functions within Admissions, Patient Liaison Office, Revenue Support and the Cashier & Revenue Officer.

This imperative role will see you ensure that Nepean Hospital's Administrative staff are maintaining a high standard in customer service, accurately recording patient activity and optimising revenue through efficient billing processes which includes Meeting MoH KPI in relation to Private Patient identification and conversion.

**Selection criteria to be addressed**:

- Proven effective leadership, negotiation, and management skills and qualities, including capacity to develop and lead a change management program.
- Extensive administrative knowledge and experience, including reception duties, with effective customer service skills and a commitment to complete relevant management training.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated extensive experience and understanding of hospital patient admissions and revenue processes including relevant policies.
- Competent in the use of a range of patient administration systems with the ability to extract data for analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, prioritise, co-ordinate and time manage daily tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training and education to administrative and clinical staff.
- Proven commitment to support revenue generation initiatives and understanding of impacts on Activity Based Funding (ABF).
