About the opportunity
We are looking to build our active casual pool as we expand our services at Werribee Mercy Hospital
The role of the Casual Administrative Officer is responsible for providing administrative relief throughout the hospital including all wards, Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinics and Main Reception. This involves completing the patient journey (admitting, discharging, and transferring) on iPM, greeting patients and visitors, managing the main switchboard including the emergency code system and responding to any enquiries. You will provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.- Casual- HS1 Classification- Flexibility and availability to work any shift at short notice within a 24 hour, 7 day a week roster- Expectation you can work up to 5 days a week when required.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in customer facing, faced paced and dynamic environment (essential)- Experience working in a hospital (desirable)- Strong person centred focus and excellent conflict resolution skills- Experience with iPM or similar patient management systems (desirable)- Demonstrated administrative and, Microsoft Office skills.- A motivated and “can-do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly and go the extra mile
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
