**Job Description** What is the role all about?**

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Implement a personal sales call plan that is adaptable to business needs and flexible with market trends
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with current customer base
- Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities
- Conduct Market Research to source new corporate rooms business
- Maintain effective communication with the Director of Sales and Marketing, providing market intelligence on a regular basis and an understanding of competitor strengths, weaknesses and ongoing sales activities
- Participate and represent Accor at key industry/trade events
- Accurately record call plan activities, contacts, rate structure and other pertinent client information in the Sales database

**Qualifications** Who will be successful?**

You will have a proven track record of achievement in sales, preferably in the hospitality and/or tourism industry, and will impress us with your demonstrated ability to transform strong rapport with clients into solid business. Your sales flair will be complemented by strong time-management, and administrative skills. Five star hotel experience will be a significant advantage, as will knowledge of the Adelaide market.

Must be able to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to an audience of varying perception levels.
- Operational hotel experience is a bonus
- Strong written and verbal presentation/communication skills
- Self-starter who can own ongoing customer success of both large and small clients.
- Ability to report and share client’s status on a timely/pre-defined interval.
- Should be flexible to work their way around business demands.
