Description:
Purpose

Some of the responsibilities include:
Use active listening, questioning, and goal setting to establish effective relationships with jobseekers from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Review and revise jobseeker action plans
Provide post-placement support
Actively engage employers, including negotiating employer incentives
Develop relationships with local support organisations
Achieve individual placement/outcome targets
Ensure accurate records are maintained in ESS and Job Ready to satisfy DoE and CoAct desktop monitoring

Effective negotiation, advocacy, assessment and conflict resolution skills

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in an employment case management role or sales/business development role
The ability to identify intervention solutions, mentor and coach
Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and advocate for jobseekers
Knowledge of local labour marketing conditions and opportunities
Strong computer literacy, administrative and database management skills

Six-month contract ending 30/06/2023 with the possibility of extension
