**Melbourne, VIC.**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Employment Consultant role is involved in the hands-on case management and service delivery of the federal government contracted
- Workforce Australia_
***contract. You’ll be working with a long-standing, not-for-profit company with a national footprint in the delivery of employment, training, and education programs.

Current priorities in this role includes servicing clients and customers from a dedicated site in the Western Melbourne region, case management and ongoing support of clients, individual and group coaching and mentoring, creating referral networks, client engagement, marketing and community engagement, and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.

**RELEVANT EXPERIENCE**:

- Proven experience working within the Employment Services sector will be highly regarded - ideally within the current _Workforce Australia _contract - however experience from other Employment Services programs and transferable skills from complementary sectors will also be considered.
- Case management, coaching and mentoring skills to work one-on-one with individuals or with groups of clients to conduct appointments, coaching, interventions, and group activities.
- Experience working with people to assist them better their life experiences with a focus on employment through further training and education, work trials and employment opportunities.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to run sessions and appointments to schedule.
- Keen organisational and communication skills, creating a welcoming, supportive and empowering environment for clients.
- Capable of being attentive, timely, and accurate with administrative tasks.
- The ability to work towards regular KPIs, targets and/or deadlines.
- The ability to work autonomously within a team environment.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- This is a full-time permanent role based at a dedicated site in the Western Melbourne region, possible site locations include: Footscray, Melton, Sunshine, Altona, and Werribee.
- Salary package is made up of base salary + super.
- This is an on-site role and you will be based at a dedicated site.
