**Duties**
- Lead and mentor the Workforce Strategy and Planning team
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of workforce data to identify current and future workforce needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify workforce gaps and develop strategies to address them.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on workforce planning matters to senior leaders and HR teams.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the DVA Organisational Capability suite, and associated programs, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to cross-section or DVA wide working groups or projects.
- Liaise with stakeholders and keep up to date with workforce and HR trends and best practices.
- Build professional networks across the Australian Public Service (APS)
**Eligibility**
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
- All applicants external to DVA offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check, even if they have a security clearance. The screening check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.
