**Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant**
Are you looking for a dynamic administrative role that offers the opportunity to support a fast-paced sales environment? We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Epping. This role offers a competitive annual salary of $55,000 and provides a range of responsibilities that contribute to the efficient operation of our sales and customer service processes.
**MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage office and kitchen supplies by placing orders to ensure a well-stocked and organized work environment.
- Handle the ordering of stationery as needed to support daily operations.
- Issue sales orders to warehouse staff for order fulfillment and delivery.
- Check and process invoices accurately to maintain financial records.
- Take and process orders over the phone while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor online platforms for new orders, verifying their accuracy before processing.
- Provide support to other departments and team members as required.
- Manage debt collection activities and maintain the HIT List for customers on hold.
- Enter non-inventory bills accurately into the system.
- Maintain filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of essential documents.
- Assist in balancing driver run sheets and coordinating freight scheduling.
- Support freight functions as needed to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with internal sales representatives, providing necessary assistance.
- Liaise with external sales representatives, offering valuable support and information.
- Report relevant comments and concerns to the Sales Manager for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the submission of forms for new and updated products to key stores.
- Contribute to efficient internal sales processes by providing reliable support.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Previous experience in administrative or sales support roles is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and basic accounting principles is a plus.
- Team player with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of reliability and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
