**About our opportunity**

We have **two exciting opportunities** for Business Support Officers to join our **Community Services, Sport and Recreation Branch** at Strathpine

Our Branch collaborates with the community to develop sustainable organisations, facilities and services, that support healthy and active lifestyles for residents and visitors to the Moreton Bay Region.

As Business Support Officer, you will provide a range of administrative and community engagement tasks to ensure effective and efficient delivery of departmental operations. These may include liaising with stakeholders about meetings for Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan and Community Wellbeing Strategy and taking notes from those meetings.

A key part of your role will be required to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, including managing correspondence to stakeholders and the processes around Council meeting briefs and reports.

Additionally, you will
- assist with the preparation and filing of business documents and processing finance/procurement requests
- provide event and communications support, including drafting newsletters and project updates
- review business systems and processes where necessary
