The State Insurance Regulator (SIRA) within the Department of Customer Service, is looking for a Manager, Supervision to join our Employer Supervision and Return to Work team.

**About Us**

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW.

This role sits in our Employer Supervision and Return to Work team which collaborates across both the Workers compensation and CTP schemes.

As the Manager, Return to Work (RTW) Strategy and Supervision, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of SIRA’s RTW strategy and working in partnership with other SIRA teams to supervise RTW with regulated entities.

You will provide strategic leadership to a high performing team including coaching and mentoring staff to deliver agreed outcomes.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Align team workplans to organisation strategic plans, manage programs of work and track outcome measures to ensure actions are effective.
- Lead and drive strong team performance by supporting a collaborative, agile team where team members can utilise their skills, respond flexibly and develop their capacity.
- Promote a focus on return to work and early intervention both internally and across the schemes we regulate.
- Provide expert advice and guidance, build capability, and influence regulated entities and stakeholders to meet their legislative obligations and deliver scheme objectives.
- Establish and deliver effective regulatory strategies to support the achievement of scheme objectives.Manage and develop effective working relationship with regulated entities, other regulators and key stakeholders.

- Can think outside of the box to solve complex problems.
- Allied Health qualifications preferred.
- Injury management or claim management experience essential.
- Knowledge and experience in return to work.

**What we need from you**:
Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $134411 base plus superannuation
