As the Accommodation Manager, you will be a part of the executive team while reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a key role in providing direct support in implementing SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) and SIL (Supported Independent Living) care services. Your leadership approach will ensure this key function is delivered to the highest quality by proving resident-centred care which promotes wellbeing and belonging for residents and their families. You will be required to travel regularly within the Gosford region

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- The position will work with the Chief Executive Officer within funding and legislative guidelines and provide an effective and quality service to people with a disability and their families.
- Will be able to make management and administrative decisions that support teams to provide consistent quality service.
- You may be required at times to be on-call and respond to enquiries from staff and clients out of normal business hours when required.
- You will be required to make decisions independently regarding the utilisation, management and evaluation of resources in those areas for which the position is responsible and is also responsible for the performance management and development of team members.
- Overseeing the daily operations and services provided to our clients at all Coastlink SDA and SIL accommodation locations.
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and adhere to relevant regulations applicable to SDA and SIL accommodation.
- Using your strong leadership skills to guide and mentor your team of workers to create a safe and secure home for the residential clients.
- Ensuring client funding adequately meets their support needs and assist them to seek additional funding when required.
- Managing communication with the relevant stakeholders, internally and externally.
- A minimum of a degree in business or social sciences or a diploma and suitable experience in the aged care / disability sector at a senior management level.
- Have extensive, demonstrated experience and understanding of SDA and SIL accommodation operations.
- Experience supporting a diverse range of NDIS clients with psychosocial and high physical disabilities.
- Have a great knowledge and understanding of disability sector funding processes and new innovation funding.
- Experience in billing and NDIS accounting practices, as well as the ability to manage client budgets within allocated funding.
- Maintain a range of working relationships with disability and allied health agencies on the Central Coast.
- An excellent understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework and NDIS Practice Standards
- Experience in a similar role as an accommodation manager is essential.

To be successful within this role, you will need to hold a current First Aid Certificate, NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Check, a valid driver’s license, RMS Driving record. In addition, a National Criminal History Check will be required.
