Office Administrator/manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator/Manager to join our well-established engineering practice based in Gosford.
The role of the Office Administrator/Manager is pivotal in facilitating internal administrative support processes across all areas of the business; including but not limited to Reception, Administration and Accounts Payable and Receivable.
The position is available for an immediate start.
The position requires you to work at the Gosford office 5 days a week, minimum of 25 hours per week.
**Your new role**
Your new role as the Office Administrator/Manager will be the first point of contact for all clients as the front desk receptionist and will provide administration support, office coordination to the engineering and drafting teams.
**Administration**
- General office and reception duties
- Scanning and filing of all invoices and documents
- Weekly stationary orders
- Filing and archiving of documents
- Preparation of letters and documents
- Photocopying, printing, scanning and binding
- Ensure the Reception and Office areas are clean and tidy
**What you’ll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Touch typing (minimum 30 words per minute)
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Pdf, Excel)
- Strong ability to coordinate various tasks, manage time and priorities to deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Strong people skills - able to build rapport, negotiate, manage expectations easily
- Approachable friendly manner with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Customer-focused, with excellent client service skills
- Flexible, proactive and collaborative approach
- Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written
