**The Opportunity**
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Material Planner to join our team This opportunity will see you working with either local or overseas suppliers to ensure parts are made available to our Production team in a timely manner.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance to company and ISO9000 quality compliance within the planning function
- Assist with coordination of new inventory reduction processes
- Ensure all required parts are made available to our Production Team in a timely manner to assist with truck build requirements
- Provide timely and accurate advice to suppliers on parts requirements to ensure all truck plant needs are met without delay
- Proactive prevention of part shortages
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely and efficient supply of parts
**What We Like About You**
- Good communications skills
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain/logistics or a relevant field
- High attention to detail
- Experience using an ERP system (JDE - highly advantageous)
