Are you a passionate, proactive, people person? genU is looking for a **Volunteer Programs Coordinator **to join our longstanding, purpose driven and values-based organisation to make a real difference to people’s lives on a daily basis.
The **Volunteer Program Coordinator **will oversee the coordination of volunteers in order to deliver targeted social companionship for eligible recipients of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS).
Supported by a team of Volunteer Coordinators and the Volunteer Program Senior Manager, these positions will deliver the ACVVS program, as well as grow volunteering across the disability services provided by genU within regional Victoria.
Key to the ACVVS contract will be the high-quality coordination of volunteer visitors to eligible HCP and Residential Aged Care Clients, across Ballarat and Horsham from 1 July 2023.
This is a full-time, fixed term position until June 30 2026, aligned with the ACVVS grant. This position will service the Ballarat and Horsham region - flexibile working arrangements are available.

**About You?**:
Our ideal **Volunteer Programs Coordinator **will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Broad experience collaborating with people in a medium to large organisation;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Ability to communicate with varied audiences, including the capacity to deliver training;
- Good understanding of volunteer and student placement programs;
- Positive, pro-active approach to service delivery;
- Ability to engage and support volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience;
- Proficient administration skills including experience using all Microsoft Office Programs and use of a CRM software;
- High level of confidentially and sensitivity regarding all matters;
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously on projects as required.
- You will need the following:_
- Relevant experience and/or tertiary qualifications in aged care, human resources, allied health, health, and social sciences, or similar.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
- Full drivers license;
