**The Opportunity**

This is an exciting time to join Alstom as we begin our journey of migrating across to SAP (GSI) to manage our operation. Reporting to the Finance Project Manager, we have several positions available where you will play a critical role in helping to cleanse and migrate data across to the new SAP (GSI) environment. This position will ideally be based at our manufacturing facility in **Dandenong** with flexible working options, however other locations will be considered. You will initially be engaged an 18 month contract, but there may be opportunities to extend and potentially be considered for permanent positions. Your responsibilities will include;
- Identifying source data required to fulfil the SAP (GSI) migration deliverables.
- Collecting data across existing ERP Systems
- Analysing financial data ensuring quality and isolating data for cleansing prior to migrations.
- Interpreting the results of the data covering Financial (FI), Project (PS) and Controlling (CO) modules in SAP (GSI)
- Actively ensuring that KPI targets and deliverables are achieved within migration deadlines.
- Conversion of existing ERP data into formats (UDS templates) that will be accepted into SAP (GSI)
- Reconciliations of data from ERP to SAP (GSI) are successful.
- Problem solving activities to identify, prioritise, selecting alternative options and implementing solutions.
- Proactively communicate with and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the world.
- Supporting end user training end users

**About You**

We are seeking an experienced and driven **Data Analyst** with a financial background who can manage and cleanse large data sets. You will also have;
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability understand and interpret data
- A passion for data and a drive to continuously improve data accuracy
- Experience using SAP, ideally within Finance modules.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and general IT aptitude
- Exposure to manufacturing and/or heavy industry is preferred, but not essential
