System Analyst

Our client, a busy transport company, SJ Transport Service Pty Ltd T/A A & J CAR RENTALS, located in Dandenong requires full-time, skilled, and experienced System Analyst.

**To be considered for this role you must have**:

- AQF bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
- Or at least five years of relevant experience to substitute the formal qualification.
- In some cases, relevant experience or on job training required with formal qualification.
- 2-3 years of experience in similar role or industry.
- You must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights.

**Your main duties include**:

- Responsibility for overall booking and maintenance system, documentation, and administration across both branches of the firm.
- Identifying and procuring ICT systems for purposes of enhancing automation across fleet management and fleet depreciation, including but not limited to procuring systems for purposes of maintaining rental bookings.
- Developing and managing reports produced from systems on fleet depreciation and producing documentation for management to make decisions with respect to acquiring new vehicles for the rental fleet.
- Responsible in implementing system solutions, such as creating and adopting system test plans in the placed online reservation systems, rental fleet management systems and vehicle GPS tracking systems and to ensure quality and integrity of the systems placed.
- Document training manuals for administration staff on how to use company booking and maintenance systems, including implementing best practices organisation wide.
- Being the central point of contact across the organisations two branches for any issues with company IT systems and assisting with trouble shooting.
- Producing reporting information on online reservation systems obtained from systems placed to record KPI targets in both branches.
- Compiling and analysing billing process of the finance team/management team to optimize the billing procedure to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Using rental fleet data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software.
