This role is in the 0-2-year-old room, a space of just 12 children, with the majority being closer to two years old than six months.

The emergent curriculum offered by the service integrates elements of literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week. There is also access to a weekly visit from an Artist for creative art experiences and a qualified sports coach for an opportunity to work on motor skills.

**Your day to day responsibilities will include**:

- Making children laugh while learning
- Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
- Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
- Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
- Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.

- Diploma/Bachelor/ Working Towards Bachelor
- Experience working within a childcare setting of at least 2 years, ideally in the nursery
- Enthusiastic and career-oriented
- Understanding of the EYLF and NQF
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
