**Assistant Revenue Officer. Temporary up to 2 years with view to ongoing. Primary location Parramatta with hybrid working.**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Revenue Officer within Revenue Management, Revenue NSW.

You will have good attention to detail and excellent organisational ability who enjoys achieving the best results.

You are someone who enjoys at working in a high-volume environment and keeping at pace with business process changes.

You excel at communicating and developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- ** **Provide transaction processing and reconciliation services to ensure payments are recorded and applied
- Review systems, processes and contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that support business systems and reconciliation process improvements
- Maintain payment records to ensure accurate processing of client and creditor financial records
- Ensure banking and reconciliation functions are in accordance with policy and procedures
- Assist Revenue Officers with system testing

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- ** **Strong bank reconciliation and spreadsheet skills
- Highly developed analytical, research and problem-solving skills to resolve system, processing and reporting issues
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with external and internal clients. Ability to communicate specialised information to variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume area and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience in working as an effective team member
- Some experience or exposure to systems testing in particular user acceptance and regression testing preferred

Salary Grade 3/4, with the base salary for this role starting at $79032 base plus superannuation
