**About the role**:
Victoria Police is establishing a WorkCover Taskforce to prevent and respond to work related injuries. The WorkCover Taskforce includes a Tasking and Coordination unit and six Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) to support our employees in prevention, early intervention, and recovery for mental health related injuries.

The newly created Administration Officer position will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative functions and will be responsible for providing support to the WorkCover Taskforce.

Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

**Your duties will include**:

- Provide a range of office and administrative support services including preparation of general correspondence, reports and file management.
- Assist with secretariat support, stationary procurement and financial processes.
- General office support as required.
- Provide support to enhance return to work outcomes through early claim interventions and ongoing claim reviews.
- Assist the development of best practice initiatives in return to work to improve positive outcomes.
- Support the implementation of the Multi-Disciplinary Teams.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and project support.
- Proven ability to work with limited supervision and the ability to prioritise workload whilst meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders and work well within a team environment.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills and computer skills including MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in a team environment and to contribute to change and business improvement programs.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
