**Job description**:
Our client is a family owned and operated building company, with 20+ years of experience delivering multi-storey domestic housing and low-rise residential developments in the South Australian market. As their pipeline of works continues to grow, this business is looking for a driven Safety Administrator to join their team and drive the implementation of safety management systems across the business.

**The Role**
As the company’s Safety Administrator, you will be supporting site personnel and ultimately be responsible for fostering a culture of safety.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Implementing safety management procedures
- Uphold an awareness of WHS legislation, guidelines, and risk management in relation to the building industry
- Ensure company policies and procedures are maintained to reflect legislative requirements
- Conduct site inspections and audits
- Coordinate incident investigations and required reporting
- Provide safety education and training
- Assist in development of hazard and risk identification processes and controls

The successful Safety Administrator will have a Certificate IV in WHS and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the building or construction industry. In addition to this, you will have the following:

- Current Australian driver’s license
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate
- A strong understanding of WHS legislation relating to the building industry
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to build solid working relationship with employees and stakeholders of all levels
