Our client is an established leader in the pet food industry. As a business they strive to constantly innovate and push boundaries to give our pets the real food they deserve. They have continued to grow their business and brand portfolio and are looking to recruit a National Account Manager to work on the Woolworths and Big W accounts.
Reporting to the National Business Manager, this role is ideal if you are currently in a NAM role within FMCG/Beverages or you are looking to step up from a National Account Executive position.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounts which include various negotiations, managing trade spend, sales, analysis including ROI, promotions, planograms and working cross-functionally with supply chain, finance and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & execute customer business plans to achieve required volume, profit and share outcomes
- Develop strong relationships with Woolworths and Big W and continually identify opportunities
- Develop & manage national promotional programs and execute appropriate pricing strategies
- Prepare & present quarterly business reviews
- Measure ROI and promotional effectiveness
- Manage spend within trading terms and budget
What you bring to the role:
- Experience in national account management or executive
- Ability to deliver on business strategy within FMCG
- Commercial acumen, understanding impact on sales, profit and market share and ROI
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in excel, with an ability to interpret external data to create customer business plans
- Relationship building and influencing skills both internally and externally
- Comfortable negotiating to achieve mutually agreeable outcomes
