As a Talent Acquisition Partner, your tasks will include:
Strategy & Planning
- Create long and short-term innovative strategies to ensure Aje Collectives people and recruitment needs are achieved
- Manage, update, and implement the end-to-end recruitment process and clearly communicate the changes to the hiring managers
- In collaboration with the Head of People & Culture, plan the Head Office and Retail roadmap and progression plans to continuously improve retention and internal opportunities that will entice external talent
- In collaboration with Head of People & Culture redefine the onboarding process and experience to ensure all new starters are set up for success
- Develop and execute programs around diversity, inclusion and our employer branding
Internal Relationships & Training
- Proactively establish relationships with all Store Managers, Area Managers and Head Office hiring managers to accurately determine their specific needs
- Train all hiring managers on the recruitment procedures to ensure the recruitment process is consistent from beginning to end
- Partner with Head of People & Culture to train all hiring managers on best practice for onboarding of new hires, ensuring they are clear on expectations
- Create and manage the recruitment calendar for all new store openings, peak trade, etc
- Develop and train all store managers in the group recruitment process
- Maintain a strong relationship with our external recruitment agency, by actively participating in recruitment briefs or WIPs
Reporting
- Report and communicate updates on all vacancies
- Monitor and accurately report all recruitment KPIs such as Time to Fill, Turnover, Internal promotions
Advertising & Systems
- Create, edit and post job ads on various internal and external recruitment platforms
- Create and update all retail job descriptions in conjunction with the National Retail Manager and Head of Retail that reflect the requirements
- Create and update all Head Office job descriptions in conjunction with the Head of People & Culture and hiring managers
- Lead any updates to elevate the careers website and how we advertise for vacancies
- Thoroughly review, assess, and shortlist all suitable applicants across the various recruitment platforms
- Store and accurately record all materials used throughout the recruitment process
- Schedule all interviews, peer interviews and project requests
- Communicate updates and constructive feedback to applicants within a timely manner
- Extend verbal offers and ensure all final details are approved by the hiring managers and COO
- Create and send all employment packs
- Identify and recommend salary ranges, incentives, and other pertinent details
Administrative
- Manage the employee referral program and ensure eligible employees receive their incentive
- Track and adhere to recruitment budget and provide all updates to the Finance Department
You will bring:
- 3+ years demonstrated recruitment experience working in-house for a retail brand or an agency that works with the retail industry
- Experience with designing recruitment processes end to end; including Onboarding programs
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to use and navigate various online advertising platforms and HRIS
- Experience managing conflicting priorities and expectations set by the hiring managers
- Ability to influence key stakeholders of the business to make the most suitable hiring decision
