This is a generalist role that will see you play an integral part of the People & Culture team reporting to the Chief People Officer. Our flat structure means that you will be hands-on, combining both the tactical strategy and operational execution ensuring we implement people initiatives that drive impact.

You will work closely with the business leaders by driving all people initiatives across the employee lifecycle such as talent acquisition, employee relations, engagement, leadership development and talent management to deliver a best in class experience for all employees and work toward making the Aje Collective Australia’s Retail employer of choice. As we continue to grow as a business a key focus of this role will be end to end recruitment.

As a People & Culture Business Partner, your tasks will include:

- Provide day to day business partnering support to all leaders and team members across Head office
- Work closely with Chief People Officer (CPO) and respective C-suite leaders to assist in the delivery of a range of generalist and specialist people initiatives;
- Assist the CPO with developing and the execution of the strategic people plan that align with the Aje Collective Strategy;
- Create and maintain relationships with leaders of all levels through regular, open conversations that support business outcomes;
- Manage employment related issues as they arise including; performance management, investigations and other employment related matters;
- Work with the CPO to manage and drive cultural change initiatives across all Head Office areas of the business;

**You will bring**:

- You'll be a seasoned Business Partner that enjoys both strategic and operational activities;
- You will have experience in the entire People & Culture remit with a focus on end to end recruitment, engagement, performance and change leadership. Experience in organisational development, and diversity and inclusion work will be highly desirable;
- You will enjoy working in a fast paced, agile, high performing environment, have a high levels of energy, be resilient and have a positive, flexible and collaborative style;
- You are comfortable operating through ambiguity, and working where accountabilities and responsibilities are often blurred;
- Down to earth / sense of humour - we enjoy our work and we take it seriously, but we keep things in perspective;
- You know, communicate and think commercially, balancing the people and commercial landscapes to focus on business outcomes & results, not on HR processes and jargon;
- Ideally experience working in Retail or similar field and /or high volume recruitment
- Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in HR, business or psychology related disciplines.
