Based at our Sydney Head Office and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer you will be a true generalist, supporting recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, employee relations, WHS, training and a vast range of other retail specific People & Culture initiatives.
**As the People & Culture Coordinator for Retail, your tasks will include (**_but are not limited to_**)**:
- Being the first point of contact for all retail employee queries
- In collaboration with the National Retail Manager, planing the Retail roadmaps and progression plans to continuously improve retention and internal opportunities
- Overseeing the delivery of all culture building activities, initiatives, training and processes in all Aje and AJE ATHLETICA retail locations
- Managing the end to end employee lifecycle for all retail locations
- Identifying and appropriately addressing training needs across all departments in consultation with the National Retail Manager and Regional Managers
- Creating and managing the recruitment calendar for all new store openings and peak trade
- Creating, editing and posting job ads on various internal and external recruitment platforms
- Creating and updating all retail job descriptions to reflect the recruitment briefs and ever changing requirements of our stores
- Training all hiring managers on the recruitment procedures to ensure the recruitment process is consistent from beginning to end
- Managing the issuing of all retail employment packs and regularly reviewing them to ensuring they are compliant with the General Retail Award and other legislations
- Assist in the execution of the annual performance review process, and subsequent quarterly reviews
**You will bring:
- 2+ years demonstrated experience working in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience working in-house in the retail industry
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to the retail industry, grievances, hiring and recruitment is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to use and navigate various online advertise platforms and HRIS
- Experience managing conflicting priorities and expectations set by the hiring managers
- High attention to detail that allows you to pick up on nuances within people and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills to proactively establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Commitment to championing a diverse and inclusive recruitment and employee experience that nurtures a broad range of skills sets and personalities across The Aje Collective
- An eagerness to push the boundaries to continuously improve the strategies, key performance indicators and other HR related functions
- Proactive approach in identifying new processes to expand industry-specific knowledge
- Ability to influence key stakeholders of the business to make the most suitable hiring decision
