Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sport's governing bodies, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. To help us deliver on our plans for 2024, we are seeking a Media Services Assistant to join our Media team on a fixed-term full-time basis until February 2024.

This role will be responsible for providing high-level administration and operations assistance to the Media Operations & Services Manager, Media Services Lead, and wider Media Services Team. You will support the coordination of the media services program and all related projects for Tennis Australia related events across the 2024 Summer including the Australian Open, ATP Cup and Adelaide and Brisbane International.

About the role
- In this role you will;_
- Manage any media accommodation requests and bookings
- Collaborate on the development and delivery of media communications materials including the Australian Open media & statistics guide, establishing timelines to ensure all requirements are met
- Coordinate internal catering deliveries (for media cocktail hour) and assisting with catering feedback process for Media Restaurant
- Coordinate media onsite requirements including the preparation and packing of media kits, desk allocations, car parking
- Support the Broadcast team with developing the AO media website content and delivery
- General staffing matters including management of staff timesheets, and training sessions
- Provide other ongoing support and administration to the media team

About you
- What you will bring to the role:_
- Experience in event management, sports administration or similar
- High-level administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders
- Ability to show initiative, work independently, and prioritise competing tasks
- Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work as required
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
